In 1965, The Who sang “I hope I die before I get old”. But as we all know now, it seems singer Roger Daltrey lied through his teeth. Both he and The Who are still rocking on in the 21st century – just like the die-hard rock-n-roll vocalists in Generationskören (The Old-timer’s Choir).
With a cocky and rebellious “Let’s rock and roll!”, these old-timers gladly put in their place all those narrow-minded age-discriminators who think rock-n-roll is only for the young and that some music comes with an ‘under-25’s only’ label. As we all know, that idea is just plain rubbish! Come, see, listen and enjoy when Generationskören perform their own interpretations of immortal rock classics at the Operaplan (just outside the opera house)!
