Please reserve and pay for tickets at NorrlandsOperan's ticket office. The ticket office is located in the red-brown building to the left of NorrlandsOperan. On the day of performances, we also open the ticket office in NorrlandsOperan's foyer, alongside the restaurant.

Our new price model means that the earlier you buy your opera tickets, the lower the price. Normally, those who wait to purchase tickets can benefit from special offers and "last-minute" prices, while those who buy in advance pay standard prices. We think that's a bit unfair and have decided to turn the idea on its head. At NorrlandsOperan, if you are really quick to buy your tickets, you can receive close to a 74-per cent discount. Ticket prices for La Bohème

Weekdays (Sun-Thu):
The first 50 tickets/performance for SEK 100/ticket
The following 50 tickets/performance for SEK 200/ticket
The following 50 tickets/performance for SEK 300/ticket
Once all 150 discounted tickets have been sold, the ordinary price of SEK 380 each will apply.
(When exchanging tickets for a different performance date, the applicable ticket price on the day the exchange will apply for the performance.)

Weekends (Fri and Sat):
Ordinary price, SEK 420; Seniors, SEK 390; Stage Pass holders, SEK 390; youths up to 25 yrs., SEK 210; students, SEK 210.

Première (Thu. 28/2): SEK 420 (no discounts)

Reserve Tickets

If you want to ensure you will get tickets, make sure to reserve them well in advance. You can reserve tickets through our ticket office, via www.norrlandsoperan.se, phone, e-mail or at ticnet.se

Please note that it is not possible to reserve tickets on the day of the performance. However, if there are any unsold tickets remaining, these can be purchased directly from the ticket office during office hours or at the ticket office in NorrlandsOperan's foyer from 50 minutes prior to the start of the performance. 

You will be required to provide a telephone number if you e-mail us your reservation. Your reservation is valid only after you have received a confirmation. Please note that the doors to the auditorium are most often closed at the start of the performance. Make sure to be on time!

Picking up Tickets

Reserved tickets can be picked up from NorrlandsOperan's ticket office (at no extra cost) or at a Ticnet agency (service charge will apply). Make sure to have your booking number with you when collecting your tickets. Tickets that have been collected cannot be refunded and may only be exchanged for the same production and only if seats are available, no later than three days prior to the performance. Any exchange of tickets will incur a fee of SEK 10 per ticket.

You can make payments at NorrlandsOperan's ticket office using any of the major credit cards. We also accept American Express and Diners Club cards.

Discounts

We offer tickets at discounted prices for seniors, students, Stage Pass holders and children and youths for the majority of our performances. The youth discount generally applies up to and including the age of 19. For certain opera performances, however, youth discounts apply up to and including the age of 25. Groups of 10 or more may reserve tickets to the majority of our performances at a discounted price via NorrlandsOperan's ticket office. New this spring: Early-bird discounts for opera performances (La Bohème).

Youths up to the age of 19 can gain entry to NorrlandsOperan's own performances free of charge 15 minutes prior to their start, if seats are available. This does not apply to family performances and special guest performances. Feel free to call us and ask if you are unsure. Tickets can be collected from the ticket office in NorrlandsOperan's foyer.

Programme

NorrlandsOperan's season programme guides are published twice a year – in the spring and autumn – and present our productions for the upcoming season. Printed season programmes are free and can be picked up from our ticket office and other locations around Umeå.

NorrlandsOperan gift vouchers make wonderful presents for friends and family, clients and colleagues. Gift vouchers are valid as payment when buying tickets at our ticket office and can be made out in the amount of your choice.

NorrlandsOperans vänner is a non-profit association with over 500 members. The association was founded in 1990 with the purpose of strengthening NorrlandsOperan's position in Swedish cultural life.
