Blanche & Marie

Blanche and Marie is a newly written opera by Mats Larsson Gothe and Maria Sundqvist that will premiere at NorrlandsOperan October 10. Based on PO Enquist’s novel The Story of Blanche and Marie, the opera deals with possible and impossible love.

Four striking characters form the centrepiece of the opera, which takes place in Paris at the turn of the 20th century. The protagonists are two-time Nobel Prize winner Marie Curie and Blanche Wittman, once the world’s most famous mental patient.

Complete your night at the opera – in our restaurant!

You will be served a main course at a reserved table in our restaurant before the show. When the clock strikes, it's time to go into the salon and experience the first act of the opera. During the break, you return to the table where your dessert and some coffee will be served before the second and final act in the salon.

Details: ticket to the opera, main course, dessert & coffee, Mon-Thurs: 500 SEK/ person, Fri & Sat: 550 SEK / person.

The offer is valid all performances except Sunday, October 12, when booking one week before the date of the opera. Please contact our ticket office for more information and to book.

* Slow baked and grilled chuck steak with root vegetable- and mushroom terrine, red wine sauce with rosemary and thyme.

* White chocolate mousse, berries with basil and rum and some rolled wafers.
