Star-studded performance in February with Peter Mattei and Maria Fontosh in a semi- staged production of Tchaikovsky's classic.
In February there will be guest performances from the world-renowned baritone Peter Mattei, who is taking on the role of the nobleman Eugene Onegin in Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s classic of the same name. The role of Tatiana will be played by another well-known name, the soprano Maria Fontosh, who we last saw as Desdemona in Verdi’s Otello in 2011.
This semi-staged production features an all-star cast, including David Johansson and Nikolay Didenko. The performance will be directed by Dmitri Bertman, the NorrlandsOperan Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by the talented Okko Kamu and the entire production will be supported by the NorrlandsOperan Choir, led by Tomas Pleje.
