The MADE Festival will roll on with its usual limitless energy, this year with an even greater number of collaborators and artists from different areas in northern and other parts of Sweden, as well as the rest of the world. As usual, we have made sure to blend age-groups, genders, interests and artistic forms into a crazy mix so that anyone the least bit curious will find themselves at home here.

Do you remember last year’s success – the floral affair at the Operaplan? This year we’ve made it even bigger and better! We will arrange an outdoor stage in full bloom, designed by design collective Ugly Cute. Here, we join forces with Galleri Verkligheten to let the musical and theatrical performances take turns on stage over the course of the four-day festival. Generationskören as well as Trumpetgerillan, comprised of hundreds of trumpeting school children, will both perform. We can also look forward to Brylcreem-scented contributions by Big Papa and Big Family Cruisers, as well as a pecha kucha arranged by Svensk Form Botnia.

The adventure continues inside the opera house. Our goal is to bring the interaction between artists and audience to a flash point! It will be a mix of artists, groups and events with strong and very diverse identities.
